In our roles as CEM (Construction Engineering Manager) and CRE (Contractor’s Responsible Engineer) under Balfour Beatty, we played a critical role in the London Street Overbridge Structural Repair project. Our responsibilities included liaising with stakeholders and overseeing the installation of emergency propping for London Street and St Mary’s Hospital.

January 2019 - October 2023

From January 2019 to October 2023, we served as the CEM and CRE for the London Street Overbridge Structural Repair project. Working for Balfour Beatty on behalf of Network Rail, our mission was to ensure the successful repair and strengthening of the overbridge, addressing significant structural challenges that posed a risk to public safety.

The London Street Overbridge faced severe structural issues, prompting concerns about its integrity and public safety. Our roles as CEM and CRE were critical in addressing these issues and implementing measures to secure the bridge’s stability.
